Sessions Black Mantel Clock

Sessions Black Mantel Clock

I just inherited this mantle clock that belonged to my Great Grandfather and there is a date of 07/01/28 written in pencil on the back.

The clock is an Eight Day, Half Hour Strike, Cathedral Gong, Turn Back. It was manufactured by The Sessions Clock Co. successors to The E.N. Welch Mfg. Co. in Forestville, Conn. USA.

We are wondering how much it would be worth today, how much it would have cost to purchase originally and any other information on the clock such as when it was manufactured, etc.

It is in need of restoration as it is currently not functional and we hope to have it restored.
