Granny's clock

by Phyllis Williams

The clock is a Seth Thomas, circa 1880. We think it Adamantine, single column, roman numeral face. The side is similar to a lion head, with sphnix like ears with a curl on top. Metal could be bronze or copper, with same metal on the top and bottom of column as well as the feet.

There is an Adamantine inlay with hard carved swirls on either side, as well as around the square portion of the clock face. I have looked at several clocks, but none match this descriiption.

The back cover is ST in scroll.
