Funghany Mantel Clock
by: Conrad Zagwyn

I too have found a Funghany Mantel Clock with internal pendulam and wind up key. I would like to know a lot more about this time piece and where it was manufactured. This one came from Grandmothers Attic and has been in the family for about 80 years. She got it from a family in Gambridge Massachusetts around the turn of the 19/20 centurys The clock is in excelent condition and keeps perfict time. I have just cleaned and oiled it and it is pering like a kitten. It appears to be a very well made time piece and I would like to know more about the manufaturer

I have a clock that looks almost identical to this, that I need info on also. Mine was sent home by my dad during WWII. I think it is a 7 day wind . it has 2 sets of hammers in back for the chimes. it chimes on hr. & 1/2 hr.It looks like solid gold, it never tarnishes. still keeps time if kept perfectly level.
