Weight won't wind up on Marcross Howard Miller Millennium Edition Grandfather Clock

Good Afternoon,

I have a Howard Miller Millennium Edition Grandfather Clock that when I go to wind the left weight with the key, it does not want to wind up. It feels like the key is fighting against me when I try to wind it. The other two weights are fine. I have had this clock for 10 years.

If you have any possible solutions or need further information, please let me know. I was unable to locate a picture.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Taubitz

It sounds like your cable is off your pulleys. Check the cable to see if this is the problem.
