Wall Clock Won't Wind

by Robert
(Texarkana,TX.)

I have a Hermle wall clock ,well, the inside mechanism is, two chains and weights, the clock is actually a made in Holland. The numbers on it are 261-080B 31cm over 125.77

Just today I pulled the chain to wind it up and it would not hold...WAAAAH!! Looking at the clock, it's the right side chain.

I presume the holding spring is shot? Or the winding mechanism itself, Just poof!! NO work.

Would it be worth repairing myself or just buy hole new clockworks and keep the wood case its in??

Thank you!
Robert
