Seth Thomas Banjo clock 1940s

We have a Seth Thomas banjo clock, stops after a few minutes. I do not know a lot of information here.

My wife received this clock from her father after his passing. He loved the clock which worked when he had it. I would like to get it up and running for my wife, any idea's would be appreciated.
