New England Clock Co. Chime On The Hour

The Granddaughter clock has a 8 hour spring wound movement. It chimes correctly on the quarter hour but on the full hour it always chimes one hour more than it actually is.
How can I correct this?
Thank you,
Dan Hubecky

Chimes not correct

The hour hand is held in place by friction. You should be able to slide it around to the correct hour. Grab the hour hand near the center shaft when you start to twist it though, sometimes they are very tight and this will reduce the chance of breaking off the hand.
