Mght Be a Tricky Clock Repair

by Richard
(UK)

I have a nice English Ebony True Bell Top Bracket clock, Brass dial, with pull quarter repeating.
Circa 1770.

It should have several bells but all the bells and stands have been removed. Before my time.

There are two positions for bell stands and two hammers for the quarter bells.

My question is,
If I decide to replace these bells they need to be in harmony with each other,
Would you be able to suggest the tuned pitch of bells to use for the hour bell and the two quarter bells.

I am not sure who would be able to answer this one.

Maybe a bell manufacturer who knows his clocks, or a clockman who knows his bells.

Regards,

Richard.
