Ingraham chime off

Ingraham Kitchen Clock

Ingraham Kitchen Clock

Hello,

My husband and I received a gorgeous Ingraham clock as a wedding present. The problem we're having is that the chime is off. For example, at 2:00 it will chime twice but at 2:10 and once for the half hour chime at 2:35.

I love this clock and would be so happy if we could get it working correctly.

Thanks in advance for your assistance

The problem you describe is not a major repair, but should be done by a clock repair person. The reason is that the repair includes bending the metal lift rod inside the movement. Trying this if you don't know about clocks could make the problem worse.

If you can't find a repair shop in your area, you can contact me from the clock repair page of this site.

Thanks, Bill
