Broken Dial Hinge

by Jim Stitchman
(Montreal, Quebec, Canada)

I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and I need an outer plastic face ring that includes the hinge pin for a Hermle chiming mantle clock.

The plastic ring seems to be about 6 and 1/2 inches in diameter and is very thin, brass colored on one side and white on the other.

Please advise as to where I might order a replacement ring.

Thank you for your assistance.

Yours very truly,

Jim Stitchman

Hermle Clock Part
by: Bill

Hi Jim,

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is anywhere that a part like that can be bought. You may need to repair your old one, or look for a used clock like yours to use for parts.

Hermle clock movements and parts for them can usually be found, but I have never seen plastic parts for individual clocks. Maybe if you contacted The Hermle company directly, they could help.
