Bee Ess
by: Mike Solomons

My grandfather manufactured clocks under this brand name before WW2. To say "manufactured" is an exageration; he purchased the mechanisms from Germany and just manufactured the box!

I am very grateful to you as your photo is the first picture of one of his clocks that I've ever seen, (if it was one of his).

Bee Ess is derived from his initials, B S. These initials were from his full name - Barnett Solomons.

I hope the clock brings you great pleasure.

Mike Solomons, (Harrow)

Thank you for your comments. They are sincerely appreciated. I have not found any info on this clock except what has been posted here. I have recently had it cleaned and the finish professionally redone. I am truly enjoying my clock.
Keep the comments coming.

Michele

Marilyn can you post a photo of your clock? How did you find the year your clock was made?
