Wm. L. Gilbert clock

We bought this clock yesterday in a Goodwill Store. On the back the stamp has a Capitol No. 45 marked H in wood on upper right side above the stamp.

The label says "Manufactured by Wm L. Gilbert Clock Company, Winsted, Conn., USA.

We are not sure if it works - it's just an old clock! We would like to use it in an art program but before we do, we would like to know its approximate value or any information about it.
