320/2K clock
by: W

I just received a clock like this yesterday and don't know it's history, though April/65 is written inside. I'm just wondering what each of the key holes run. I only want to have the time work and am not so fussy on chimes, though perhaps the hourly chime would be OK. Which ones should I try to wind?

Clock Identification

Your clock houses a German movement. The letters FHS refers to a Franz Hermle & Son movement in your clock. The numbers 340-020 is the movement identification number or type of FHS movement. It is possible that the number that precedes the movement id number is the year the movement was manufactured. 81 would possibly be 1981 etc.

Hope this helps.
