Possible maker
by: Albert

Hi, your clock looks to be possibly gilt spelter from your photo I saw what looks to be a part of an arm broken off.

Spelter is a soft metal and this is very common. Regards maker it could well be a Marti or Japy. They both made figural clocks.

Hi,

Many thanks for your input. I really appreciate that.

I have been inquiring around in order to have it repaired. I just want to find out if is a worthwhile the investiment.

I have the broken pieces. The funny thing is that regrettably, the experts who I came accross on the internet did not mention any possible value that it might have after repair and restoration.

Regards

Marcelo
