First of all this is not a kitchen clock as it has no timer. It was not made by Welch Co. It was made by Sessions after they bought out the welch co. It was manufactured from 1903 to approx. 1910.

We bought a clock in Tasmania Australia from an antique store 2 days ago.(oct 2010)They said it was mass produced in America and shipped to England. A family would have then imigrated to Australia. On the back it does say Sessions Clock Forestville Conn USA but no date. I am amazed it is exactly the same.
