Still trying to identify

Junghas Mantel Clock
by: Oscar

Hi,

From your picture I would say that the clock is by the maker German Junghans. Junghans Uhrenfabrik was established by Erhard Junghans with Franz Xaver in 1861 in the Black Forest, making parts for clocks.

Thanks! Any idea what it is worth?

Your Clock is a.... JUNGHANS
by: Scotty

Hello There - your flea market clock is a "Junghans", though I do agree that the script is a bit hard to read. This was a German clock company, the largest German company at the turn of the 20th centry, but did not bounce back from WWI and I believe all production ceased around 1926. Cheers -

Thank you for the updates!

Thank you all for your comments. I have sent images to the German company currently handling the "modern" version of this clock and am awaiting their comments.

Have a lovely day.
