Sunny Sky clock

I found this clock about 40 years ago on the coast of MA in an antique store. The face is glass, the sides plastic.

I need help now to find the kind of plastic used in the side panels. It has broken because someone tried to clean it. It is almost opaque, yellow/orange, but the light inside the clock does illuminate it.

I have tried calling plastic manufacturers and all they can think of is vinyl which is flexible enough.

Does anyone know anything about the clock. I think it was used in a grocery store. It looks like a deco design.
