Seth Thomas pendulam stops swinging

by Kathy
(Kelso WA)

I have a model 4483D Seth Thomas that used to be my moms. It swings for a while but slows and stops within a couple of minutes. Any suggestions? Any help would be great. Thank You Kathy Harrison

Sure sounds to me that the movement needs to be cleaned and oiled. This is exactly what a clock does when it is dry of oil, or gummed up.
