Seth Thomas model E658 / E659

by Mike
(Margate, Florida)

I recently recieved an "antique" grandfather clock from my parents, who recieved it as a gift from the estate of a close family friend.

I brought the clock to my house in a previously "packaged for shipping" configuration and proceeded to reassemble it with great success as it is working great and keeping time.

Unfortunetly, the clock was not "packaged" properly as the bell rod shipping support was not installed, resulting in two bell rods being broken.

I have spent the afternoon online searching for any information on replacement parts and any information as to when this clock may have been built. I have found nothing thus far, can you help?

According to the instruction sheet and documents with the clock, it is a Seth Thomas (a division of General Time) model E658 or E659.
