Sessions 3w clock shorted out

by Brad
(Wichita, Ks )

I'm trying to find parts for a Sessions Mantel clock 3W (electric) I bought it from and antique store and when I got it home and plugged it in it arc. I took the back off and notice where the plugin was soldered to the mechanics on the inside had been blown off. I'm not even sure it's repairable but I'd like to try since it was a gift for my wife. It's in very good condition other than being inoperative at this time. Thank you, Brad

Electric clock motor

Hi Brad,

You can try looking for the part at timesavers.com. Parts for some electric clocks are no longer available. If all else fails, check out eBay under clock parts, or clocks for repair. As a last resort, you can always buy a complete generic movement either electric or quartz to at least keep the clock in operation. Some modifying of the hands will be needed if you go this route.
