Please help Identify this clock...age, maker, etc...

by Quinn
(Springfield, VA, USA)

I just bought this sweet, pine grandfather clock...although I am not sure it qualifies since it has a battery in its face. The lady said her father bought it 60 years ago and it has a carved head that reminds me of an Indian design (or perhaps a cuckoo?). It is a delicate clock, small in stature, and stands about 79" tall, has a round face with carving all around. The top looks like a plume...

I have not seen another like it and wonder if anyone knows its history? It is all wood...stained in a walnut color.

If anyone has any information, or thoughts on this, please post it here.

Thank you!
