Please help ID WWII ships clock

The story I have been told is that my grandfather took this ship's clock out of a burning ship while Pearl Harbor was being bombed.

That's the only bit of info I have about the clock. Can anyone please help?

There are no markings anywhere on clock except what looks to me like the number #619369.
