New England Abel Cottey Grandfather Clock

The clock stopped because the weights had run out and I raised them and the clock never started back up. A piece fell out we believe is called the lower pin to the suspension spring assembly. Now we cannot get the suspension lever to stay in place. It appears that there is either a piece missing or broken, however, we cannot see any other pieces. What can we do?

My clock is a Abel Cottey Grandfather's Clock - 8 Day - I would like to have a owners manual. The clock is not working it will not keep time the pendlum will not swing. The weights are up but nothing happens. Please advise.
