Need help with my chime clock

by Roberta Newman
(Flat Rock, Michigan )

I got a chime clock that was my grandfathers and it was not taken care of over the past few years and now I have it and I can't figure out how to get the time and the chime to match. Any ideas? It's a Seth Thomas quartz clock model # 0796-001

Chimes not correct
by: Bill

On most quartz clocks, the only way to do this is to carefully move the hour hand to the number of chimes that are sounding. The hour hand is held in place by friction, and can be moved. Careful, don't break the hand off.
