My Grandparent's Mantle Clock

I received an antique mantle clock of my grandparent's after they died. I know nothing about antiques and am wondering if anyone knows how to get these things fixed and if it is of any value? On the bottom of the clock is a very worn partially torn label that says "Seth Thomas Clock Co." Also there is a date of "September 7, 1890"
