My Antique Mall Wall Clock

I bought this clock from the Antique Mall in Hillsborough, NC, and I fell in love instantly. I had to have it. When I got it home, I didn't see a name on it anywhere, all it said was "Japan", and I wasn't ready to take the back off. It has two chime bars in it, and they're struck simultaneously, so their is a melody every half hour, and it strikes the full hour.

I think it had decorative weights at one point, their are two silver dodads at the top, and it had a crown piece, but it's loooong gone. I guess that's why the people got rid of it
