Mom's Gilbert Clock

This item is a Gilbert mantel clock that I inherited from my mother. I am unsure about how she came to own it. I expect that it was bought in the 1970's during her antique collection phase.

The wood on this clock has been refinished once. I have two keys that go with it. I am interested in knowing the details of the instrument and its approximate value so I can be sure it is properly insured.

Any help will be much appreciated.
