Mantle Chime Clock

I have discovered an old mantle chime clock and although it has all its parts, I cannot get the weight to hang correctly to make the seconds work in time.

It is made of Marble (black) and it has engraving on the front. It has a round face. You open the front brass ring to get to the two springs that get wound up with a key.

It does not have a name on it, but above the number 12, it has the following inscription: "F S"

Inside the clock it has stamped on the back
Manufactured by the British United Clock Company Limited, Birmingham, England.

The opening at the back is also a round brass covering.

If anyone can help me please contact me Unfortunately I only have a photo on my cell phone and not on my computer.
