J. Bennett Grandfather Clock

This J. Bennett has been in my wife's family for several hundred years. I think it dates to the late 18th century.

I would like to know more about it, as well as its worth. It is in god working condition. We have it in the hallway and it keeps good time. It strikes on the hour.
