Is this an antique clock?

by Rob
(Ohio)

I know nothing about clocks. My Mother recently passed away and she had this clock that has no markings on it at all. It is a very heavy wood clock with a lot of metal decoration on it.

The front has a glass door, and the sides also have glass. At the top is a cherub. When looking at the side, it looks like 4 lines go down the length of it. It appears it was put together in 5 pieces.

I think there is supposed to be a pendulum in it but it is not there. The clock is not working. The dial on it does not have any marking either. One thing I did notice is a mistake on the dial. It has the roman numerals, but above the roman numeral it has 5, 10, 15, 20 etc...when it gets to where 35 is supposed to be, it says 55 instead.

Anyway, I am attaching a picture. If anyone can give any information on it I would appreciate it. Thanks.
