Ingraham Mantel Clock

by Ed

Aunt Jenny's Old Ingraham Clock

Aunt Jenny's Old Ingraham Clock

I've had this old Ingraham mantel clock sitting around in the rec room for years after my aunt passed it along.

It had been in the family sitting above her fireplace since I was a little kid. I can still fondly remember hearing the hourly gong while waiting for somebody to feed me dinner. Amazingly, it still "gongs" after all these years.

Now I'm trying to find out exactly when it was made and maybe a little more detail. So I've got a lot of research left to do.

date stamp
by: ron porter

i just cleaned and oiled an ingraham mantel clock. I had removed the hands and the face and I f0und the date stamped in the front of the frame. it will have a two digit number on the left side and a two digit code on the right, for instance on this one was the number 11 which is november. on the right side was the number 04 which means 1904. hope this helps.
