Mystery Clock

I have been working on a clock but have no information the it. There is no manufacturer label. The only information I found is a stamp on the back of the clock movement that states that it, the movement, was patented on Oct 28, 1902. It is made of a cast metal, appears to have been gold plated. Just curious if anyone has any knowledge of it. Thanks. Dana

Information on the manufacturer and date of a clock

Bill,

I have had a close look at both. Surprisingly there is no stamps on the clock movement or case. I fabricated a new click for it, works, but can't get a nice even beat to it. Thanks for the thoughts. As you say, perhaps another out there has seen it.

Take care,
Dana

Hi Dana,

I do not remember seeing this clock before. Sometimes there will be a name engraved on the movement, itself, if you want to take the cover off.

Other than that, I guess we will have to wait and see if anyone else knows more and posts here.

Thanks for the post, Bill
