New Haven Clock
by: Bill

The New Haven Clock Company was sold at auction in March of 1960. So if there is any label, or markings that say it was made in New Haven CT, it was before this time.

The New Haven Name has turned up on some Foreign made clocks since then. Someone probably bought the trademark. These clocks should have a lablel showing the country that manufactured it. I have one that was made in Germany in the 1980's.

Nepoleon Mantel clock

I recently purchased the clock - it has one jewelers mark 1937. It chimes on the quarter, half, three quarters, and hour, Westminster chimes. The wood is a two toned mahogany. I don't have anyway of posting a picture, but the looks are similar to the one on this site - just different wood. There is only a patent on the inside of movement. The jewelers mark is on the door. I hope you can give me some information on when it was made I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You,
Mark Mounts
P:S:also the value
