Glass domed Hall Craft clock

This clock belonged to my dad's parents. It was made by the Hall Craft Corp. in Germany and I have no idea how old it is, except that I know it is over 50 years old. It is made of brass and is covered with a glass dome. It has to sit level for the mechanism to work properly.

Identification of date and value
by: Bev

I have this exact clock however the only thing I'm missing is the key. Is there a universal key that can be used to wind the clock? I've seen comments about ordering or availability of parts but have several other antique clocks and wanted to check to see if one of those keys might work instead of waiting.

Also, is there a way to find a date on the clock and get an estimated value for it?

This is also called the 700 day clock or aniversary clock. My father brought them back from vietnam for my mother and grandmother. I don't know if he actually purchased them there or at a stopping spot somewhere in between.
