My dad has one just like it. Great great grand father bought it in germany. before moving to the USA. Tag indicates made in america, New York or Connicut, between 1870's to 1883. the clock factory burned down in 1880, was rebuilt then sold in 1927 to Russia. All parts were moved to that country.
