Gilbert Clock

My Grandfather recently passed away and I inherited his clock. I would like some information about the clock, such as when was it made and how much is it worth.

On the wood there is a grapevine pattern. The paper label on the back says: Navy 24 Manufactured by Wm L Gilbert, Winstead, Conn.

It has brass hands and painted dial. Any information will be greatly appreciated! The clock means alot to me because it was Paw's and I just want to know what I received.
