French Baker's Clock?

Can anyone further identify this clock, its antique value, and suggest on who might have great interests in acquiring it?

What I've been told so far about this clock:

"This is called a french bakers clock . Circa 1870 to 1890. Was an expensive clock when antique clocks were hot."
