Antique Parlor Clock

I found this clock as I was cleaning out crawl spaces upstairs in my house. Now by looking at it I can tell that it is an old clock.

I have found some clocks online that kind of match, however there are a couple differences.

I have been told by a couple people who do work with clocks that this thing is over 150years old, but I can't find anything to help with that.

If anyone can help me, that would be great.

Note from Bill: Your clock is a parlor clock and appears to be from one of the large American clock companies from Connecticut.

They were made from about 1870 - the early 1900's. If you remove the hands and the dial, there is probably a makers name engraved in the brass plates that will help narrowing down the search for information on the particular clock you have.

Thank you, Bill
