Egret Crane or Heron on my clock?

As of late, I've ended up with two antique clocks in my possession. They belonged to my grandfather and he was an antique dealer. Recently my aunt passed and they have been given to me.

One has the New Haven Clock Company label still intact, but the one I'm writing about in this post doesn't. Part of the paper is missing at the top and I can't find any other makers marks. The front glass door has a Heron or similar bird on it.

Everything seems to be in working order but I don't have much knowledge of antique clocks and therefore am not sure what else to tell you folks in order to help identify it.

Does anyone recognize the style enough from the pictures to provide more information for me? How old is it? Who made it? Is it rare in any way?
