Clock from Mom and Dad

Hello,

I inherited an antique clock from my mom and dad. They were both killed in a car accident so I really don't have a history on it except my dad had on the inside on a paper the following:

Improved Clocks manufactured and sold by Chauncey Boardman and Joseph Wells. 1832-1843. See Palmer "Book of American Clocks. page 153.

It has wooden works.

Can you give me a value and a history about this clock please?
