Hi I am from Australia, My wife inherited a clock very similar to this one from her late uncles, believed it was a wedding present to her Great Grandparents around 1905-1910, I cannot see from your pic but has your clock got a scrolled pattern below the Dial face on the lower half of the clock? Email tedball2@dodo.com.au

Regards

Ted

Pendulum weight

James, does your clock have a weight on the pendulum? The weight on my clock is about 1.5" dia and weighs 2 7/8 oz. and it has an "S" stamped in the middle. The pendulum resides on the very rear of the mechanism. It has a rod going down with a hook on the bottom the the weight attaches to.
