8 Bells Liberty Clock

Seth Thomas Ship Bell Clock

It is approx. 8 inches across the face and chimes on the 1/2 hour as well as the hour. 8 chimes at 12, 4 and 8. It adds a chime for each 1/2 hour.

It is a Seth Thomas with U.S. Maritime Commission printed on the face along with PF 43-13 hand painted on the face. Keeps excellent time and runs for about 8 days. Picture attached.

I purchased it from an estate sale and would like to know where it came from and any history.
