1970 Seth Thomas Clock

My mantle clock rings every 15 minutes but recently on the hour chime, it rings a different amount of chimes than it should.Example, if it's 2:00 it will ring 4 times instead of the actual 2. Is there a fixable solution I can do without damaging my clock?
