1917 Car Clock ??

I have what appears to be an in dash silver cased clock dated Dec. 1917 with a 2 3/4" face...has a second hand at the top of face...large knob on face bottom to set hands and wind the clock...held in the dash with three holes on outside edge circle...would this be from an Overland...have had no luck in finding any vehicle it would have come from...it's a Chelsea clock..Boston,USA...thanks for any help..
