1827 Long 8-day Clock

Bought in 1933 for One pound 50 pence. On the back of the dial is scribed H.Eames made this 1827.

The clock has been repaired at different times by:

W.J. 6th Dec 1833

J.James 1844

C.Weeks 1860/1864

Would love to have some information on The Eames family of clock makers to complete the history of this Long 8-day clock. There is also a painting of an Estate...perhaps the Estate in Petersfield, Hampshire?
